  if they only had the guts
  
  but romeo is bleeding but nobody can tell
  amd he sings along with the radio
  with a bullet in his chest
  and he combs back his fenders
  and they all agree its clear
  that everything is cool now that romeos here
  but romeo is bleeding
  and he winches now and then and he leans against
  the car door and feels the blood in his shoes
  and someones crying in the phone booth
  at the 5 points by the store
  romeo starts his engine
  and wipes the blood of the door
  and he brodys through the signal
  with the radio full blast
  leavin the boys there hikin up their chinos
  and they all try to stand like romeo
  beneath the moon cut like a sicle
  and they're talkin now in spanish about their hero
  
  but romeo is bleeding as he gives the man his ticket
  and he climbs to the balcony at the movies
  and he'll die without a wimper
  like every heros dream
  just an angel with a bullet
  and cagney in the screen

• bu akşam cnbc-e tarafından macera filmleri kuşağında gösterilmiş nadide film..
  hoş bir film noir örneği.
• belli bir noktaya kadar makul giden senaryonun filmin sonlarına doğru sapıtmasını saymazsak gayet sağlam bir film. oyuncular için bile izlenebilir en azından.
• bu filmde gary oldman 'ın karakteri polis memuru jack 'in başına gelenlerin pişmiş tavuğun bile başına gelmediğini söyleyebiliriz. anti kahraman jack açgözlülüğünün kurbanı olur, hem istemeden olayların içine çekilir hem de hiç utanmadan hala akıllanmamakta ısrar eder. bu açıdan trajikomik ve bütün mantıksal hatalarına rağmen sürükleyici bir neo noir örneği olarak akıllara kazınmıştır. lena olin'in karakteri ise femme fatalelik müessesesinin fazlasıyla hakkını veren, hatta aşmış gitmiş, en cani, en azılı, en seksi, en egoist, en en beyaz perde dişilerinden biridir sanırım.

• film, korku faktörü olarak bir adet rus kadın görünümlü chucky içermektedir. sürrrrrekli garycim oldman'in ağzına yüzüne sıvadığı ruju ve exorcist gülüşü-sesiyle gerim gerim gerildim, ne izlediğimi anlamadım. allah koru yarabbim!
• güzel bir sinematografiye ve harika bir bitiş sahnesine sahip film noir crime thriller. 90'larda geçmesine rağmen film noir hissini iliklerinize kadar hissedebiliyorsunuz. gary oldman her zamanki gibi muhteşem oynuyor, lena olin de öyle. filmin en güzel yeriyse arkadaşlarının jack'e (oldman) yazdıkları mektubun okunduğu andı.
  
  film hayranları arasında kült statüsü kazanmıştır.
