• bu anonim bir irlanda türküsü evet ama 1972 yılında thin lizzy bunu bir rock şaheseri haline getirince değişti kaderi. metallica, u2, pulp, simple minds gibi gruplar o irlanda ezgisini değil, thin lizzy şarkısını cover'ladılar sadece. aslında türkü hali de güzeldi ama onu değil thin lizzy yorumunu çalmak istediler. çünkü thin lizzy yorumu tam anlamıyla bir efsaneydi. bugün zibilyon tane grup whiskey in the jar çalıyorsa bunda en büyük rol thin lizzy'nindir. bu da böyle biline yani.
