• shirley bassey tarafından söylenen bu şarkı için diyebilirim ki bir anne en yürekli ve olgun sesiyle, almış karşısına çocuklarını, hayat dersi veriyor. sesinde hem "neleer gördüm neler geçirdim, yorulmuşum" edası, hem de "yıkılmadım, ayaktayım bu da geçecek biliyorum" kararlılığı var. şarkının sözleri arka arkaya yüzünüzde beliren tokatlar gibi görünse de nakaratında "life goes on" dendiği anda annenin öpmesiyle eş değer bir sıcaklık kaplar içinizi.
