• harold pinter'ın sistemin gücüne atıfta bulunduğu oyun.
• benim duyduğuma göre harold pinter türkiye'ye geldiğinde (ki flanger 1985'te geldiğini yazmış) iki genç kıza rastlamış, türkiye'nin durumu hakkında (işkence, darbe, demokrasi vs. sanırım) ne düşünüyorsunuz gibilerinden sohbet etmek istemiş, bakmış ki kızlar "bir elinde cımbız bir elinde ayna" havalarında, oturmuş bu kısa oyunu yazmış. psikolojik işkenceye dair etkileyici bir oyundur. "one for the road" yola çıkmadan içilen son içki anlamındaymış. gavurlar son kadehlerini içerken hadi bu da yol için olsun gibisinden bu sözü söylerlermiş. ama oyunla bağlantısını kuramadım.
